An Taisce Seeks Judicial Revtew Of Legality Of Hinkley C Permission

An Taisce [described as the Irish equivalent of UKs National Trust) is seeking a judicial review of the legality of the UK’s Government decision to permit the building of Hinkley C. It says the UK Government has failed to consult the Irish public, as required by the EU’s Environmental Impact Assessment directive and the UK’s own regulations on trans boundary impacts and consultation.
